The AFL Women's (AFLW) is Australia's national semi-professional Australian rules football league for female players. Established in 2017, the league has grown to include 18 teams and is renowned for its competitive spirit and high attendance.

From 2017-2022 David Borgen provided security escorting of AFLW talent, safeguarding players, referees and staff during events.
